President / Instructor / Trainer
After discovering the American Saddlebred and the heart they have she fell in love with the breed and showing saddle seat. She became an assistant trainer/instructor at Wheeler Stables in Plain City Ohio. “I loved working for Eileen and Dave.” C.M.
Vice President / Instructor / Trainer
Morgan Krebs has never known a life without horses. From a very young age she showed various horses in breed, open and 4-H arenas, winning a vast array of awards and ribbons. Many of these ribbons were won with the help of her dearly departed horse, “Coco”.
As a child she was often found helping her fellow competitors ready their horses for the show ring. She can still be found in the show ring in her favorite discipline: equitation.
She attended Hocking College where she graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in riding instruction, colt training, and forestry.
Morgan currently works full time teaching and training at Lost Fortune Stables. She teaches equitation, saddle seat, hunt seat, western, driving and showmanship.
We have a full time staff of experienced and knowledgeable equine caregivers.
They provide fresh water and feed, muck stalls and assist in monitoring all horses for general health and wellness on a daily basis.
My family and I have been part of the Lost Fortune Stables community for over six years, and I truly can't imagine boarding our horse anywhere else.
Having grown up riding horses, I’ve experienced several barns over the years—but none have ever felt as much like home as this one.
Colleen and Morgan are incredibly caring, supportive, and always prioritize the well-being of the horses. Their dedication shows in everything they do. Lost Fortune Stables offers a wide range of riding opportunities making it a welcoming place for riders at every level.
They go above and beyond to keep their programs accessible and reasonably priced.
It’s more than just a barn—it’s a family, and we’re grateful to be a part of it.
